Appreciate the look into your past Shug. What an honor.
Maybe I should make one of those hammocks with the 475 feeet of 7/64th amsteel I have left from the last sale?
I love hammocks, however i have never liked the tied rope kind. Always had pressure points and hotspots(pain). Then when the fabric kind with the spreader bar came out, I thought I'd like them better..... not! Way too tippy. After I had kids and they got old enough to play on it and get dumped out and had to get 6 stitches. It was time to retire it....
Thank the good Lord above for gathered end hammocks!

Left lay or right lay? Lol
We love you, man
Sometimes in my 12x6 hammock, I thrash around and end up right down middle with both feet spread wide apart. I call it Brahma Bull lay...because it looks like a rodeo rider on a bull, feet and legs straddling bull, feet forward in deep wells on both sides of bull’s head and my head thrown back on bull’s hindquarters!
Its actually very comfortable as if my legs were straddling a large limb in a tree high in canopy.
Shug, that’s a great photo
We love you too, man
After you think you have put up your hammock suspension correctly, you need to.........trust but verify.
