    trail lair ordered

didn't need another hammock seeing as I really like my dream hammock sparrow, but I've been waiting to try out the trail lair for forever. I ordered a 11' in 1.3 MTN today in charcoal gray. I'm wanting a light weight hammock for the warmer weather. can't wait to try it out since I've read so many people brag about it

I'm contemplating the same thing. I've already had 2 10 foot Trail Lair but now I'm thinking I'd be more comfy in an 11 footer.

Post some pics when you get your new Lair.

Same here, but in the opposite direction. You won't be disappointed. I've got 2 Trail Lairs, 1 DL Hex1.0, that is the one that turned me on to SLD, & 1 DL Multicam with Orange Hex 1.0 inner that's never been slept in. If you can, please post the weight of your SL 1.3 when post the pic. Enjoy!

I had an 11' SLD tree runner that was made out of the 1.7 MTN and liked it and it was 60" wide but felt a little narrow for my liking. even though I'm only 5ft even I like wide hammocks so I went with 64" on this one (my sparrow and dangerbird is both made out of the hyperD XL and made wide as possible) didn't want to go super wide with this one tryin to shave some weight on this hammock. this will be the first material that below 1.6 I will have tried besides the used hammock I bought off of here that 1.0 monolite material and put that up for sale the day after I got it. I only bought it because I wanted to try the material but it had way too much stretch for me so hoping the 1.3 is not too stretchy for my liking.

man when you are used to Jared making and sending you a shipping notice with a couple of hours and then you order something that is made out of a material he doesn't stock and he has to order......the wait seems like forever. haha

You'll like the 1.3 fabric. For me, it's the perfect compromise if it's about weight, packability and comfort. Actually on comfort it's no compromise.
I'm going to order from SLD again soon.
