The Annual TarHeel State Hangers Hang

I know that this is a bit of a late post. Most of our posts and trip planning are over on Facebook, but I wanted to throw this out there. The weekend before thanksgiving we gather with our hammock family in the piney woods for food, fellowship, and campfires. Come on out and join us. Also with years past we hold a quite large gear raffle with all proceeds going to the Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park. The sign up sheet is below.

"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.”

Scientists agree, capsaicin, a compound in hot peppers, can induce thermogenesis. Thermogenesis is a process by which cells convert energy to heat. The following information is only for your perusal and joy...
Capsaicin can cause biochemical response on cellular level. The energy from hot peppers would ordinarily be converted to cellular energy enabling body processes. Such as cellular maintenance and or energy to cause muscle movement. Scientists have discovered that capsaicin found in hot peppers can cause cells to skip aforementioned uses and instead cause a thermogenesis effect with resultant increases of body heat.
Now I can lighten my pack by skipping all that heavy down. That’s right, I’m leaving all quilts at home.
All I gotta carry is 5 or 6 hot peppers and ingest them just before getting in my hammock.
Next morning I’ll exit my warm hammock and drink a mug or two of warm java...

Good people Tarheel State Hangers. Morrow Mountain Hangsgiving as well as various excursions yearround.

Too much capsaicin and caffeine may have over-mixed your salsa PG!
