That's gonna be a serious diagonal lay. The widest I have ever done is 72 and it was very comfortable. Lots of extra fabric to deal with but you can almost get sideways in it.

Interesting project. Let us know how the comfort factor plays out.

Yeah but all of my other 3 were sewn channels so this one is whipped - came out pretty nice but the proof is in the pudding I have to go hang around the stand later tonight and post pics.

5 times safety rating puts load at about 300 lbs - plenty for me - 150 lbs soaking wet

Is that extra whipping in this pic? You could use that to integrate your RL

No - shown are the whippings, the CL's and the RL - I got too much cord when I whipped the ends so I believe that is what you are seeing - in my hand is the RL - 115" finished if it works. 109" or so now but I have found that these do "stretch" about 6"-7" over time - weave expanding as I have heard it explained - anyhow I will TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM - crawl in and take some pics with my matching 0* Zeppelin strung up on her.

I always splice in Eyes for the RL and they fit perfectly with the CL - I just run the CL through the RL's eye and easy peasy set and ready.

I am just a bit concerned that the whipping will skip off but we'll see.

I always wanted to "beef up" so for 2 semesters I ate protein and drank shakes and lifted - got toned as all hell but alas no Mr. Universe

Holy cow is she big - I can even lay full length perpendicular. She's so big in the first picture the hammock completely covers my UQ
