Pick a date and hopefully I'll be able to make it.

Woot! Let's get this sucker planned! Date range possibilities? Last spring's Northern Hang was when, May?

As one who is not the organizer ... I would like to throw out some dates that work for me ........
Last year was in June. It was good!
I suggest June 18-20 (Fathers Day Weekend)
Just my suggestion..... other weekends I have gigs on Sundays and would have to take off on Saturday.
Lets get the dates a-rolling........

<----also not the organizer!!!
Father's Day weekend? I'd have to bring my daughter along in that case. How appropriate will this shindig be for a 10 year old? Think it'd be not too difficult a hike to bring a young'un along?

I would like to avoid the last weekend in May (29 &30). My wife's 40th wedding anniversary is the 31st and I may need to be here.
I think the Fathers day weekend thing might work for me too. I have a wedding to shoot the following weekend but no weddings planned for Fathers day.
It is quite the haul up there but it is just too much fun not to go. I would love a reunion with some of you northies!

So who wants to volunteer to be an organizer? I've got plenty of work already organizing the Wilderness First Aid hangs, but I will be very happy to assist the person brave enough to take the responsibility.

Here are some maps of the RW area to peruse.
As I have never done this section I cannot add much.
Lots of doable routes ..... 10ish miles per day as like the last 2 Northern Hangs it was a BACKPACKING TRIP.
Looking at the parking area on West Delta Road and maybe doing 1st night north or south of there. There is a parking place to the east of there a wee bit as well. Maybe find a good site around there for the first night Meet-n-Greet Potluck thing. Somewhere around the Eric Lake Area ..... just ideas. It will all be nice no matter what direction or route we decide.
Any suggestions ... just post them out there. sure this will all go round and round a while but they are supposed to be some nice woods and the camping restrictions are pretty laid back I hear.
Another option would be to start West on the river at Gaylord Nelson Trailhead and head North and then East and maybe end around Delta Road Parking or on to Perch Lake area ....... just thoughts. good dang thoughts!
