now that i compare 2 samples i can't tell if one frays worse than the other or not, i think making quilts is just extra rough on raw fabric because the netting snags the fray so easily, it's like velcro kinda, and the raw edges are exposed for almost the entire sewing process so there's more time for it to happen.
Hey Brandon, quick question.
On your website there is a "Max Flatness" rating. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. Do you mean that the maximum flatness can be achieved by having that much weight in the hammock and if you go heavier than that the hammock lie won't be as flat?
Bump... for what its worth, the way I read it on the website was that "flatness" would be relatively constant up to the weight limit, and then after that stretching occurs which adversely affects the "flatness" of the lay. Survey says.....
Brandon, how about some pics of the new color...
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.
Does anyone else know about the Max Flatness rating?
Yes when I was ordering my wbbb do 1.7 this came up. The max flatness is the point where the fabric starts to stretch. After that (up to the max flatness rating) the fabric will hold but it will stretch, decreasing the flatness of the lay.
