Has anyone done the diy under quilt with the Costco down throw? I need a cheap diy quilt. I’d be using this in the summer. What would the coldest you could use this at? Thanks in advance

I bought one of the two packs of the Costco quilt and made a TQ and UQ. Sewed channels around the perimeter of one of them, pulled the stitching to make baffles, and use that set up for my three season insulation. Think I'm going down into the low '40's high '30's with that and wearing minimal clothing. Although I do sleep warm.
I would wager there's several dozen examples in the DIY forums
