How to keep a TQ in place

Okey Dokey. My pre-teen has issues with his top quilt sliding out of his WB Traveler. He's an active sleeper. What is a good way to keep his TQ in place?

Is your son kicking out of the footbox or is he "walking" the TQ off the top of himself while he sleeps. I think that Randy, not quite sure, took some fabric and sewed a triangle section of fabric in one of his DIY hammocks to stop this problem. If you don't like the fabric idea you could always use a no-see-um material instead. That way the netting will give before the hammock fabric does if he is having really wild kicking fits.

Well yeah...That was my idea so I figured there had to be a better one out there

I make slightly deeper footbox and then use a couple of side or center release buckles to help keep things tucked. If they are positioned correctly along the side of the quilt they are pretty easy to engage/disengage.

Duct tape will more than likely do the trick too...

This thread discusses adding a footbox to a netless hammock. It definitely helps me keep the TQ from falling over the edge. It does not affect the lay of the hammock.

Well, I guess there is always a Pea Pod type approach. That is the only approach I have found where I don't have to "work" to keep things tucked in and with no draft when I move. But I guess you have to find a way to make the TQ you already have stay in place. Other than a pod and ideas already given, I don't know. I especially don't know if it is a case of flopping around with out really waking up. I'm not sure how you would stay covered with a TQ without using some caution when you move.
