Which hammock will work for me?

I have a decent dividend at REI and they have the 20% coupon so the purchase will be made there. That narrows it down to a Hennessy, so which one should I get?

    Here's what they have available:

I'm 6'3" at 185 lbs, could I get away with a Hyperlight or would it be too small?

I use to have the Explorer UL which was nice but would like to get something lighter/smaller if possible.

    Thanks!

IMO, at 6'3" in height, the Explorer is going to be your best bet. The Hyperlite and Expeditions will most likely not be long enough for your frame.

Mr. Leet dude - your avatar is creeping me out!

    where's the Raid!

Good luck w/ the hammock quest. I find that I use REI less and less for major purchases. And this year my dividend shows that!

I agree. And, at least when everything else is equal (is it ever?), I think the longer hammock is the more comfortable hammock. I am only 6'1" and I really would not like my HH UL Explorer any shorter. I might be able to get by, but I prefer the larger hammock.

+1 on the Explorer Deluxe. 6'1" - 210 lbs (winter weight).

I'm 6' and 180, and haven't had any complaints with the Hyperlite. It is the only Hennessy that I've tried though and the longer hammocks might make all the difference...
