Apparently, I now have a month off, so I am planning to be there, and I will be bringing a friend. Is there a sign up sheet?

Haha, not sure if this is a joke, or you're serious! I will be there at least Saturday and Saturday night, funny how it all lined up, like it was meant to happen!

With a sadden heart I hate to say that the person we have moved the hammock hang up for has passed. I'm not going to say who because I don't know if it's my place to say.. I'm not feeling much like camping anytime soon, my friend will be missed something awful at our Wolfpen hangs. He told me a few days ago that he will always with us at each campfire we have at Wolfpen. Plus after watching the news and this virus spreading like a wildfire here in middle Tn. My wife is telling me I'm not going to any group functions till this gets better.
Our prayers goes out to the family! I'm sorry for your loss

Bankheadboy, thank you so much for your support. Ashley loved you and the Sipsey Wilderness Area. He really wanted to make this hang. I know this virus is changing how we live. We are having an outdoor memorial sevice so more people can come together without as much chance of spreading germs, and it is also what Ashley would want. I and some of Ashley's family are thinking of coming to the hang in his memory. His full obituary is online at www.wardwilson.com.

Several years ago, when Ashley, Wanda, & Tammy joined the Sipsey Hang, there was a change. A change for the better. It seemed as if each Hang, the group became a real family. Ashley was the glue to our family. You will be missed my friend.

I was very blessed with the opportunity to meet Ashley because of this group. Praying for the many people that were his friends and family and for you Mrs. Wanda.
