Ever been here?
I called yesterday and asked:
Question: "Good trees for hanging a hammock?"
Answer: "No trees"
Everything else seemed fun for taking the kids. I don't want to drive 5 hours to find out that there is no shade and seriously no trees.

I think Jeff was supposed to have gone there a little while ago. I don't know if he ever made it.

i went there for a week end (pre hammock days).
it's a great place & i didn't see the whole island, but if i went again, i'd be looking at taking a plastic, flat snow sled to drag my stuff on ( like a pulk?).
and that stuff would include a portable hammock stand (store bought, metal probably).
here's a thread w/ a lot more talk about that park on it...
