Price being equal, then weight savings, even if it is only a few grams.
I havn' looked at the C site lately. The stuff I have been working with is supposed to be their lightest at about .34/ yd I believe. My tarp has held up ok. I also have some like .45 now in a pale kinda sickly light green. My bridge will be out of this. If you really, really, truly, cross my heart, want lite ,you have to accept that some of your gear will not be bomb proof. and will have to be repaired or replaced from time too time, however some clear tough tape will fix up C. very well! However the very light C in most ways is certainly stronger than the 1.1 or even the 1.9 rip I believe The myth persists that C is kinda fragile. It is not. and it isn't fabric ,,gnome

I would go with the heavier fabric at those listed weights.
I guess I fall into the category of thinking that the heavier stuff would be more durable and therefore give more value for the money spent. This may be a false belief but I would think the heavier would hold up better at stitched reinforcement points. If this is not an issue, then whichever is cheaper.
