I’m hoping for good fall weather for us at Yates.
If temperatures drop below 30* and get close to 20*, you might consider adding extra insulation to your hammock
Possibly using a zero* underquilt or even stacking a zero* and a 20* underquilt. You can use a pad and underquilt. I believe thinner and wider closed cell foam pads are better than thicker and more narrow pads. A narrow pad is not wide enough to insulate your side, shoulders, and arms. Also thick pads might make uncomfortable wrinkles while bending in three dimensions, to match curvature of your hammock.
Hot water bottles and hot hands hand warmers can make a big difference. Toboggans, beanies, neck gaiters, and down hoods will keep your head from getting too cold.
If all else fails, feel free to sit by our campfire and drink warm drinks#
