    Ridgeline sling?

Does anyone have one of these? They look pretty cool. Does anyone know whether you could fit camp shoes in there? I kind of like the idea of having a ridgeline sling attached to the pull-outs with my camp shoes, so that I can just reach down easily and grab them in the middle of the night. I also wonder whether a CPAP machine might fit in one.

Shug covered it. I have one too. I like to use it as an outside locker. Hanging from the hammock suspension by one end. I like to put my sleep cloths in there when i make camp, then switch them out and put my hiking clothes in there for overnight. If the boots aren't too muddy they go in on the bottom first.

When empty for transport, I store mine rolled up in my hammock peak bag, so i never forget it. If you are buying a Dream Hammock it makes a great $5 dollar upgrade over the mesh RL organizer.

It's another item I have in my cart there but haven't pulled the proverbial trigger on yet. So. Much. Stuff.

Thanks, Shug, but the gear sling is actually a different product from the ridgeline sling, which seems to be newer (there is a link in my original post if you are curious). I haven't been able to find any posts or videos on the ridgeline sling yet.

I'll probably pick up both, so maybe I'll make the first post on it!

yea that one is a bit different at that....those Smurfs. Take your eyes off of them for a second and they cobble up something different in two twitches of a tail and a blink of an eye.

I have the ridgeline sling. DH made one for me in 1.0 mono rather than the then listed 1.6 hyperD. Seemed to make sense to me have it as light as possible.

For camping, I really like the small mesh ridgeline pocket that SLD does, and I now leave it attached to my two main camping hammocks. The ridgeline sling is very easy to switch between hammocks, so I use it at home right now if I am trying out a hammock that doesn't have the smaller pocket. It goes on quick and easy, and stays where you put it, both height above you and position kn the ridgeline. Very nicely thought out product.

Which camp shoes? It should fit most, but it is a fairly shallow bowl. How big is a cpap machine? I use mine for books and headlamp mostly, though it will fit a fair bit more.

My camp shoes are cloth and rubber water shoes (so a bit more substantial than flip-flops but still flexible in the same way). My CPAP machine is 9.5" X 5.5" and 4.5" tall. About the size of a loaf of bread I guess (like a bag of sliced bread), but maybe a bit shorter.
