Hmm, let's compare.
Stratus Underquilt
26 ounces
Synthetic Stratushield Insulation
Rated to 40*
$79
Hammock Gear Economy UQ
17.16 ounces
800 Fill DWR Duck Down
Rated to 40*
$139.95
Which one would I choose? Well, I've never heard of Go Outfitters, and I've never heard of Stratushield insulation. Also, 26 ounces is a pretty insane weight for a 40* top quilt. On the other hand, HG has been making hammock quilts for years, and are well-known and well-respected cottage vendors.
But if the price and the coupon floats your boat, go for it! You'll save 50 bucks. It's up to you determine if buying a top quilt from a vendor nobody has heard of is a wise decision. Personally, I wouldn't go near that offer.

If you try it, I would test it in your back yard or some other situation where bail out is easy should things get cold. with that weight, i would hope its warm to 40*!
Well I got it and its ... ok... For car camping and as the 'loaner' I think it will do well.
It is stated to be warm down to 20 however Im good with it working to 40 and do plan on taking the plunge for a 850-950 fill light weight O Degree down when it gets closer to our winter here (Toronto) from HG LL or Jacks.
Overall its well made, no stray threads and the fill is well divided. The pull cords and snaps seem to work well although time will tell. The footbox design is unique and works well. None of the straps or cords touch my skin sleeping.
Packs down and even comes with the compression sack, sure yea it is heavy BUT for the price it will do the job for now; even came without any duty charges (from Florida). I can post some pics if anyone is interested.
Unfortunately, a person couldn't buy one from HG if they wanted to.
Yes i have and after maybe 10 uses in two year the batting as completely broken down. Working with them now to see what my option are. Go Outfitters Underquilt.jpeg
