    Wooki/Trail Winder temp question

I use a 3-season AHE Jarbidge 3/4 UQ from spring-fall currently. If it gets warm in the summer it is easy to loosen a bit to vent. For anyone using a Wooki or Trail Winder type UQ, can you easily vent them if it gets too warm? Wondering if a 6.0 apex TW which is rated to 20° is usable during the summer like the Jarbidge or if I would need different quilts for summer and spring/fall.

I have a pair of 40* Trailwinders that we use for the summer months and stacking. They use a cordlock and shock cord in the middle of each long side, in addition a lineloc with a little adjustment at each end. I find them very easy to vent, often I don't even have to sit up to reach the side adjustments. I can't speak to the WB Wooki but would imagine you can push it partially off to the side.

Here's a video by Shug I watched a while back and he talks about the Wooki in there iirc. You may find it easier to just vent your top quilt or just use a light blanket in the warmer months rather than trying to vent your bottom insulation btw, I've also heard of people flipping their quilt over and sleeping on it if they're too warm and use the foot box as needed.

    Wooki/Trail Winder temp question

Thanks. Both comments are helpful. I rewatched the Shug video and see how he pushes the Wooki aside. Also looked at photos closer of the Trail Winder and see how it can vent from the side.
