This will affect my pack a bit. As of now I am at an honest weight of 26 pounds with 6 days of food in my pack.
It may work that Hickery and I will get back to the car to re-supply but our plans are ambiguous .... so who knows. Hate to not have some gelatinous canned pork with me when I want that and a cigar!!!!
26 is fine ... it feels good on me.

26 pounds. Is that before you go to the bathroom, or were you going to carry that anyways?

I might bring one if my pack is not to heavy. I just made a new FF stove I'm thinking about trying out. I'm looking forward to seeing these IX Q's ya'll are talking about.

You know you got it bad........

....when you receive your topo maps from the USGS via Fed-Ex for the area that your gonna hang in.....and spend the next couple of hours studying the route you're gonna hike.

My wife just passes by my office and shakes her head.

    She just doesn't get it!
