    Grizz beak test flight

Ordered a beak from 2Q/ZQ for my hex tarp and finally got a chance to hang it up. I have a trip planned to the u.s. virgin islands and wanted to make sure everything fit. The tarp is a BWDD custom hex (12 foot ridgeline) made of coated 1.1oz woodland camo and was purchased from a HF member.

I must say ZQ does an amazing job and the quality is top notch. Thanks for offering such a great product and thank you Grizz for coming up with the idea.

    Here are a few pictures:

Thanks, I'll be sure to report back with some hangin pictures on the island.

Hopefully everything works out with the MI hang this summer so you can check it out then.

Well, ih8mice, that really looks useful. It looks like just the thing to make an easy job of blocking wind or rain. It would probably be tremendously useful even I have just one for the windward side. I've got the feeling that one of the use is in my future. And no doubt it could be used with a smaller tarp, especially one with a shorter ridgeline and or a hex cut tarp. Thanks for the report and the pictures.

That's what I was thinking and the reason I only ordered one...that and the weight savings.

During the winter months I plan on using the beak on one end of my Chinook tarp and then grip clips on the other end to complete the fully enclosed shelter.
