What is your favorite thermometer for backpacking?

I have a really cheap little thermometer that hangs in my hammock so I can have some idea how cold it gets. But the scale on it is so tiny I can hardly read the numbers (getting old). And that is with the help of my reading glasses. I would like to find a better one that is easier to read. I'm open to digital but prefer something that doesn't need batteries. And I would like it to be lightweight.

Anyone have one they love? Where did you get it?

This shouldn't be too hard should it?

I've been liking this one for 3 season camping.....https://www.thermoworks.com/thermodrop
Display rotates so good when hanging on pack strap.
    Can turn on and off.
    Has high and low.
Deep Winter camping a switch to a 2 unit thermometer.

    Another vote for Thermodrop.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I am a big Thermoworks fan and own several of their products, the oldest of which I've probably had 15 years or more. I don't have a Thermodrop though.
I know it's not what you're asking, but if you're ever in need of a digital thermometer for culinary purposes, they are unbeatable and available at many different price points.

The thermometer I bring along for trips or even cold overnights in the yard is the Sensor Push, bought from amazon. It has no display, but instead syncs to the phone via Bluetooth. It has pros and cons, the main con being lack of display. However it does keep a graph of temperature, which is neat, and it also measures relative humidity, which is a nice plus. 98% of the time, we keep it in our baby's bedroom, so it's useful for that too.

If I wanted a really featured one, I'd get the Kestrel Drop D3.

Just curious for anyone who has bought the Thermodrop - does Thermoworks still include a fun size bag of Jelly Bellies in every order? That was always a nice touch. lol

I take enough things with batteries, I don't want to add another so I just bring a cheap 4-function Coghlan's Whistle. It has an old-school thermometer, button compass and a magnifying glass in addition to the emergency whistle.
