    BWDD Four Season Clone

Scott was gracious enough to allow me to use my BWDD 4 season as a template to make a tarp for a recently converted new hanger.

Weight is 21oz's seam-sealed minus the ridgelines.

Of course my stiching and overall craftmanship are definitely not on par with Scott's but it did keep the rain out on a recent trip.

    Thanks for viewing.

You betcha. And hey - it's your tarp, you can do whatever you want with it. I do very much appreciate the asking though - that was a very kind gesture.

Looks good to me. I especially like the red thread! Very cool. You should be proud!

I likeee! The Black and Red is wicked.

Where did you get your D rings?

Do you think you'll add side tie outs? I'm glad I did to my BWDD clone. Worth the extra effort for sure.

    Very nice indeed!

That is a sweet looking tarp. You did a pretty darn good job with the needlework too....dont be too modest

Folks are cloning the heck out of these new tarps...now that I have one (the real deal) I can certainly see why! Free time to set the thing up (besides my living room) can not come fast enough!

    Thanks.

I plan to do the tarp pole mod instead of side pullouts. I did it to my BWDD original and was very please with the results. From what I can tell it eliminates the need for guy line tensioners.

D Rings: I robbed the ridgeline ones from 2 pairs of columbia shorts, the other 8 came from a portable dvd player case along with some of the webbing. Free is good!

Thanks. It all holds and I guess that's what really matters. I'm gonna try the blackcat instructions next for a summer tarp.
