How did covid precautions and restrictions affect your hike? I assume most issues would've been about going into town for staying at hostels and resupplies.

No more issues than I'd have had at home. Wore a mask in town or in shuttles. Was mindful of distancing at shelters. Always tried to be the one to step off trail when meeting other hikers to control distancing. Never had a bad attitude expressed while in town about being on the trail. Folks seemed happy to see hikers and appreciated the business.
