    Non Scientific conclusion

Over the past few months, I have conducted a non scientific study, regarding the frequency of having to pee in the middle of the night, due to sleeping in a hammock.

I didn't note the exact temps, but when it was cold, I would have to get up an pee during the night. This was caused from what I thought was excessive coffee intake before bed.

Now since it has warmed up,,, temp wise,, I have drank the same amount of coffee before bed, and find that I am able to sleep the whole night in the hammock, without having to get up and pee.

Although this is not an official, conclusion, but I think it is related to the tempature.

just my thoughts,,,,, besides,,,,, I am bored today,,,,

I tried to watch the amount of fluids I drank before we turned in for the night this past weekend. I probably got up at least 7 or 8 times to "water the plants". At home, I only get up twice during the night.

My son? He can hold it a week! Sheesh!

Definite evidence to support that...there are several threads here that discuss it. Try the sticky on using a water bottle to stay warm.

Your body has to use energy to keep that extra fluid at 98.6F. When you get chilled, your body wants to get rid of that waste fluid so it doesn't have to work so hard to keep your core temp up. So having to pee at night may be an indicator that you need to increase your insulation. Or it may be an indicator that Father Time is just messing with you...

NTPS (Need To Pee Syndrome) is well documented and exponentially proportional to the inconvenience and discomfort to perform said function.

The evening was barely cool and I was toasty warm using a SnugFit underneath and my new AHE Owyhee TQ. There were times when I just used the TQ to cover my feet and pushed the rest to the side b/c I was too warm.

I guess that means my age is finally starting to show? I'm not 18 anymore and I guess I'd better come to grips with that. I was just hoping that I'd still have some time left in my early 40s before things go south!
