Hey there Opie ..
I would gladly split my site with you .. I reserved a type 5 site which is one of those bigger sites that would hold an RV 30 feet or bigger ... So hopefully it will have enough trees and space to add one more ... I won't be able to pick my site until that Friday morning but, if you want we can split the space .. Just let me know and PM me ... I'm going to try to get there earlier so I can get a good one.

Sweet. Let me know how much I owe you to split the cost. I also only need 1 tree so long as it's about 12-15 feet from where I can park

All set to go. I just reserved a class 3 site #141. I have decided to bring a pop-up camper that I am acquiring later this month from a family member. This should be a good maiden voyage for it. Have no fear, I will still be hammocking.

All right, a little correction to my last post.......

First off, thank you gargoyle for pointing out that I could not reserve a specific site. It does appear that when you pick the wrong campground you can reserve a site, at least at Gun Lake. It also appears that Gun Lake costs $19 more for the weekend. My reservation has been changed to Deep Lake and it is absolutely correct that you cannot reserve a specific site at Deep Lake. Sorry if I confused anyone and thanks again gargoyle for IM'ing me.

I was going to try to stop at Apex Outdoor Gear ( http://www.apexoutdoorgear.com ) in Grand Rapids to check out one of Monbell's Hugger bags. Has anyone ever been there? Any thoughts on the place?
