    SLOVAKIA: Rainy Cloud Ridgerunner

First try of my new hammock, which resulted in 400 grams including the bugnet. Will see if it survives one month at least, but performed very well first night. I am aware of some failures of this fabric. But this first night was a big step as the fabric seems to be stronger than looks.

Very calm evening with lots of bids around already, the green starts to make its way to the hill tops. Quite strong predicted rain at night, and in the morning we got out fast, as the wind started to play its 27m/s.

Great photos... this one in particular. Looks peaceful & quiet & love the forest colors contrast.

Is your Ridgerunner made from Cloud 71 material?

Just curious, what kind of wildlife do you most often encounter in those enchanted woods?

lots of birds, like Dryocopus martius, Dendrocopos major, Fringilla, Turdus, Erithacus rubecula, Columba livia, Corvus corax, one can just hear Cuculus canorus or various spieces of owls
