    Warbonnet Minifly

I bought one of these during their amazing Memorial Day sale. And then got 20% off again due to a color blemish issue - gave me the option to switch colors or take the discount.

So, one hell of tarp at a hell of a price.

This has become my most favorite tarp - perfect size, weight, coverage in all but the worst weather in winter. I was highly skeptical of the mini doors but they function perfectly. Unless you’ve got sever horizontal winds coming at you, I’ve got no concerns. Even in that situation, it think I could angle and lower everything and stay dry.

I can’t recommend this tarp enough - it’s a mini wonder! If I had paid full price it’s more than worth that.

My minifly is easily one of my main tarps. I've had it in some pretty sideways snow and no issues.

+1, I've had mine out in some nasty weather, and don't really see a need for anything more unless I'm expecting extended wintry conditions, like a real early AT start.

I paid full price. If you're feeling guilty, I'll take your money.

My most used tarp used to be my Warbonnet Edge (even though I had a really nice SuperFly)...that is until Warbonnet started making MiniFlys. It is the perfect tarp. Seriously. I love the bit of added protection the little door flaps give without all the extra fabric of larger tarps. My MiniFly has been my all time favorite tarp since Warbonnet first introduced them!

This is my go to tarp. Just flat works. And I have my banyan under it.

Also a fan here. at 12oz its the best Non-DCF long distance hiking fly. I havent had it out in gnarly weather but it feels nearly as secure as my HG Journey, though in high wind I have noticed the Journey is more secure because of the middle tie out points and I do miss the panel pulls fore more room on the Journey. But generally those are minor issues as the Minifly is 5-6oz lighter, which is rather significant on long hikes.

The Camo fabric is also great. Very stealthy in the woods around me.
