    choosing a compression sack

I just bought the JRB High Sierra Sniveler top quilt... It makes no sense to carry a mummy bag and sleep in a Draumr with an insulated inflatable under you. I'm trying to reduce bulk and weight with a far smaller backpack than my old Kelty frame pack, and I would like to contain virtually everything INSIDE the pack. Looking at compression sacks, I find them rated in liters......... I have no idea how to select the minimum compression sack for this 28 oz quilt. I've not found a chart that would apply.

    Any suggestions?

You could ask the folks at JRB? Some other vendors (well, Hammock Gear at least) recommend a sack size for their quilts. Or, you could ditch the compression sack and just stuff it into your pack. That prevents unnecessary over compression of the down.
