    ZMAD:
go over to Arrowhead Equipment and check out the pillows that Paul makes for the hangers. I have one on order and will post with my trial run and thoughts. Plus they are made with Climashield and can provide a layer of warmth in the winter.

Plus 1 for the Arrowhead Equipment. Get the large. It's not that big, it's just right. You will not be disappointed.

    Thermarest Pillow

I've been using this thermarest pillow for the past few years. It compresses nicely and then expands if you unroll it and let it sit for a little bit. When i first got it I was slightly disappointed in the amount that it expanded (i just thought it should have expanded more) but then i washed and dried it and that fixed the problem. When it is packaged, it is stored compressed and doesn't fully decompress until after a good washing and drying. It is incredibly comfortable as well.

It might be a little bulkier than some of the pillows that some of the minimalist campers use, but it rolls down small enough for me!

I am working on shrinking down my gear and if i go solo with my tent i dont think i would have room for a thermarest pillow. I was looking for something small and seeing the kooka bay its size packed and that i might be able to make it makes me even more interested.

I am currently working on my DIY hammock which needs a bugnet then i should be done.
