It was good to get back to Yates after having to miss several hangs. Even better, I got to bring my son Jackson the champion bottle flipper along. Phantom Grappler made it a great event as usual. Everyone was friendly and laid back, making it a wonderful time. Thanks everybody, especially Phantom Grappler!

Wish I could have made it this year. I did get some time near a fire this evening. At least none of the trees I was hanging fell on me this weekend.
My lesson plans are complete. Time for school tomorrow.

Well its been a while since I've been to the Yates hang or any hang for that matter. The stars aligned and I found myself going back in time to see old friends and meeting many new friends. It was great to see the women and the young people there it used to not be that way. I was talking to Hickory about observing that most of the people were older and we determined that the older people are at a place in life that for one can afford to buy down blankets and the main reason is we don't have to get out of a tent. Amen to that. At the end of the day when you place people together with a common interest there is always a good time. Thanks Phantom for all the work you do and dedication to this hang the numbers alone speak for this. I had a great time and will be back.

Another great hang, enjoyed meeting new folks, seeing “old” folks and thanks to all the Chef’s for filling my belly.

Nice seeing everyone! Even with all the roadblocks thrown my way I managed to have a great time. I will try to bounce back (or forward?) this spring. Nice video Wolfpack!
