I just uploaded a trip report to my site for a quick overnighter I took last July...up and back the AT Approach Trail. There are some pics of the WBBB with a 9 oz partial underquilt (61"x36" with 0.8" PrimaLoft). My gear list for the 8.2 lbs base weight is posted on there...I used my new 7.5 oz Gossamer Gear Murmur pack, which was pretty comfortable.
Re: the weight, my total shelter weight was ~5 lbs, including extras like tarp tensioners, biners (didn't have the DCs yet) and webbing.

It was a pretty good trip...I sat watching a butterfly feed off a flower for about two minutes. I got a decent video of it but it's still .avi, so it's 166MB. I'll get my video software straightened out soon so I can convert it to something smaller and post the video.
