Hanging my HH on a 3 day paddle-trip last fall on the Oswegatchie in Northern NY
I'm a longtime camper, and a hammock camper for the last couple of years. I've been a member of these forums for a while, but mostly just read.
I know, and have gone camping with, some members, which is how i found my way here.
I am a public school teacher in Lake Placid, NY, am married with a wonderful wife, a son, and 2 dogs.
I am always planning (at least) 2 trips into the future.

Welcome NFA - my son attends Paul Smiths so I have been spending a lot more time backpacking in the ADK's the last few years. My first trip up Marcy was in February of 1973, but I've only been hammocking for the last 3 years.
Maybe we can get together for a hang sometime.

A group of us are going out on the Cranberry 50 in a couple of weeks...should be tough and/but fun...
