What method are you recommending for gathering the ends and connecting to the suspension.

It weighs closer to upper 4oz now with the tie outs.. It's actually 53" and not 52" like I originally thought... I know its only an inch but every inch counts hahahaha..

More photos as promised.. Keep in mind I am 6'2 200lbs so I am bigger then most people...

    It is looking sweet.

When you say "with tie outs" does that include the cord you are using for gathering the ends. If not, what would you recommend using to prevent abrading the ends off?

I'm 180, but only 5'8" so that shouldn't be an issue.

    Love the color.

It has 5/8" grosgrain webbing tieouts that are doubled up at all four corners, two on each end of the ridgeline, and two in the middle on the edges. Just like a normal tarp.. I am going to change the angle of the ones in the corners to 45 degrees... I should of done this when I built this one but it was a building oversight. Plus I can't pull apart the bonding without delaminating the cuben fiber so I have decided to just wait and do this upgrade on the next one.. The weight includes the two pieces of 7/64" dyneema on each end that you use for hammock mode...

I was just thinking, that at 98" x 53" that is almost as large as a Hennessy Deep Jungle Tarp at 97" x 64". You could about get two of your Cuben hammocks and use one as the tarp for the other.
