    Continuous Suspension System

I used an SMC descender ring, but have some other options on the way.

Lengths are all interchangeable, I simply used a 6' sling and a 6' strap since thats the most common. This will require some sort of fastner at the tree... biner, DC, Nacrabiner, toggle.

Price as configured in the slideshow will be $45 shipped per pair. The rings I have coming are Omega Pacific rings and SMC Rigging rings. The reason Im picking these over the SMC descending rings is they will will have a larger radius for the cord. I can add a ring at the sling/webbing connection too.

Well, My BB arrived last week. I had Brandon leave the suspension off it.

So the oppurtunity to showcase the new suspension presented itself.

    However, its raining outside now.

Weight is on a 1.7 double WBBB with 4' straps and 6' slings is 2 pounds 1.7 ounces. You will need DC or a biner for attachment at your anchor point.

Man, I think all that plastic and wood found it's true calling. A hammock stand! Perfect distance!

Looks good, the ideas just keep coming in. More options for Whoopies. I'd imagine using the rings and biners in the continuous system you are probably looking at the same weight or heavier depending on rings you use as a webbing, buckle, biner suspension. I picked up a couple of the red SMC rings shown in your pics at REI today. REI had the Omega Pacific's too but I thought those felt kinda heavy (34 grams vs. 26 grams for the SMC's.)

Update.. tgreening had an excellent idea...

    http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...81&postcount=8

By flipping the sling around Im able to use a thimble in the fixed eye at the sling/webbing connection. This does place the whoopie adjustment away from the hammock... But I dont forsee any problems still being able to adjust it. Unless you have to stand on a ladder to get your huggers around your tree.

This picture is only of a mock up I did for a test hang.

Pimped out "All in One" !

Last night I pulled the ripcord on Opie's new "all in one" with the sling upside down and a rope thimble. According to him, I will be the first customer to buy this new setup, so I'm posting pics as soon as I get it installed and hung.
