ViDEOS: 7 Day Solo Canoe Trip..Superior Gear Starlite hammock

    Though I posted this up on here...but I didn't.
Seven days and 6 nights by myself in the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe area in Northern Minnesota. Whooooooo Buddy)))))
Rented a Northstar Magic kevlar canoe at Rockwood Lodge and stayed at bunkhouse at Tuscarora Lodge Saturday night. Both on on Gunflint Trail out of Grand Marais, Minnesota.
Got storms, sun, wind, calm, eagles, moose, beaver, naps, swims and great eats.

Forgotten video, forgotten bushbuddy, just be sure to check and always remember your compass and you will be okay.

Had my compass and used it for navigation the whole time.
No Bushbuddy. Maybe need to get it back out. But canister stove worked great for pancakes with less work and smoke.

I stayed at Tuscarora when I went on my bucket list trip to BWCA. I still remember their French toast. It was the best I 've ever had. It was sleeping on the ground on those rock slabs in the Boundary Waters that turned me on to hammocks.
Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Shug!

Watched these a few weeks ago, but wanted to state what a beautiful trip this seemed to be. Paddling across peaceful lakes, amazing wildlife (that moose!), great meals (thanks for the little highlight, that was unexpected and very kind of you), and the usual outstanding scenery of the BWCA. I really do hope to make it there someday.

You should make time to do it. You'll not regret it.

Really appreciate you sharing these Shug. These videos are great. Unfortunately I haven’t been on a canoe/camping trip since I was 10 with my Dad (many decades ago) but this got me motivated to make it happen again!

I really enjoyed the videos, so much different than canoeing in Florida. We always drive to the exit and then hire a shuttle to take where we want to put in on a river. hanging on Palm trees on a sandbar in the river and waking up to 32 degrees with the steam coming of the river.
