    I favor Spinn because after a couple of years of use, it seems to have all of sil's positive traits, plus a few bonuses like weight and a lack of moisture pass-thru on contact.
    At least in my real world usage, neither material seems any more or less durable than the other.
    Trust nobody!

    I can't justify the additional cost. (and I like colors other than grey!)

    I haven't used my Spinn tarp yet, but I have no complaints about my Sil tarp either.

    i still like sil better because of the color options, and it packs a good bit smaller than the spinn, and is alot easier to stuff. the spin does perform well though, but you get good performance from a tightly pitched sil tarp as well

    very similar product, equal performance - I go for the lighter spinn.

    After playing a bit with Spinn... I definitely prefer Sil. I think it's a texture thing for me. I just don't care for the crinkly paper feel of it. I like the benefits, but for now it's Sil for me.
