Yeah, I know, I know. But hey, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then! What's the worst that could happen? I wasted 60 seconds typing and this post will eventually pass into digital nothingness...

Lusting after a 1.1 double, but would consider just about any Blackbird.

    *fingers crossed*

I've got one but you can't have it! If we both make the Northern Hang, I'll let you take a nap in it.

I just got mine about a month ago. Ordered it and it showed up on my doorstep 5 days later. Brandon is just about as fast as Paul.

How well does your crowsnest fit on your HH?

Hah... That's the sort of answer I expect to hear most: "...but you can't have it!"

The crowsnest (actually a winter Ptarmigan) fits it fine. Because it's an early prototype it didn't have the extra attachment loops sewn on the sides. I added some myself at strategic points (matching the a-sym tie-out points) and now it seems to work great!

    to be honest....just order one
even if you find a used one...your not getting much of a savings...maybe $10 at the most ....and you could wait for months till you find a used one...

heck even when they do come up...there gone so fast it's not funny

It looks like the 1.0 & 1.1's are shipping in pretty timely fashion. The 1.7's are the ones that seem to be behind.

I'm not in a big rush to get one, just thought I'd throw the feelers out there, just in case. Also like the idea of cycling money in the community (absolutely nothing against Brandon!), ya know if someone needs to sell something to be able to get other gear, whatever... know what I mean?
I know it's a not much savings going used. If it came down to it and I absolutely needed a Blackbird, I'd happily order a new one.
