Please post links/pics (thumbnails) of your suspension system from tree to hammock with a brief discription of the setup including anything that you do that may be different.
This is so new hangers can find this in one place. Ease of comparison.
Comprehensive views would probably be best with a few detail pics.
These are the two that I am using currently on two of my DIY's
The first is "Old Yeller" from Harbor Freight.
The second is 4200# tubular nylon.
The first seems easy enough, but I am still a little apprehensive. I am 260#
The second is very easy to untie but I find for myself that in longer hangs(between trees) that I get just a little too much stretch when wet.

i think it would be great if someone who is good at laying it out, would write an article on supports, or just on webbing.
using what's been talked out on threads here, they could summarize some of the basics on webbing types w/ there strengths & weaknesses & sources, etc.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
