I find that the lower limit of a poncho liner (really all TQs) is completely dependent on what UQ you pair with it. I use a poncho liner for summer trips (in US Southeast) and love it. However, when fall comes I sometimes forget to swap to warmer quilts. If I use the PL with a 20deg SLD TrailWinder, I'm perfectly fine down about 50 degF or a little lower. However, if I use the PL with a 40deg 3/4 Phoenix UQ, I freeze even in the high 50s.

A custom 50deg Enigma Apex with 7D shell is 10oz according to EE's calculator, which is only 0.4oz heavier than the 950 down equivalent. But it'll set you back about $230 before tax and shipping... and the down is $325, yikes.

Apex is definitely better for persistent high humidity.

Just throwing another vote in here for the Shenandoah. I've used mine down into the low-30s even (with a cheap microfiber liner around the outside as a wind block). Also, for an extra $20, you can have the footbox sewn. Personally, for a warmer-weather quilt, I like being able to open it up, but I'm thinking of getting one JRB's 20 degree quilts with a sewn footbox (they offer this on all their quilts).
