    Welcome, OPossumLee!

On Monday, I'll ship a larger, replacement belt for Mark. Glad you folks like your packs!

Welcome, oppossumlee! Glad to hear from another MMP user. There are so many ways to set these packs up. Have you devised any tricks you can share with us? For starters, with a 40 lb load or so, how many stuff sacks are you using? Do you like cinch straps with fastex buckles or just loops? Are you using a MM Frontpack? What's your preferred method of keeping rain off your gear?

You guys with your 40+ lb packs are nuts!

WV, the Lee brothers settled on ladder locks for cinch straps. I prefer them for light weight, but there are some nice aspects of buckles.

I only carry that much if I have to - Mt. Rogers in January for instance. You don't want me talkin' about my new Summer pack (starts with "Aa"). There's recreation and there's work. The MMP is a worker ... but comfortable.

I'm still around Gargoyle, just been busy with life, work, honey-do list and a friend is getting married in April...
