Just got word from Tree Bird there is no water at Brown Hollow and lot's of blow down on trail. Changing the location to Terrell Pond. Hope this is good for everyone.
If someone has directions to the Pond, please post them. I know you stay on fire road from the Fire Tower most of the hike, but can't remember where to turn off. Brain fart!

I don't have directions but am considering joining for Friday, as I might be biking the Nebo Ridge trail Friday. Is the Pond in that same area? or Charles Deam Wilderness? or elsewhere?
Thanks
You access the pond from the fire tower trail head in the deam wilderness, which is very close to the southern end of Nebo trail head. Parking lot
Got it. the pond is near campsite 6 at the end of the Terrill Ridge trail? Hope I can join for that Friday!
Keep walking north from the tower on the gated road. After a mile or two, the road makes a true 90-degree turn to the west. The road ends at a cemetery just 100 or 200 yards west of that turn.
At the 90-degree turn, a trail will go north- east. Follow that about 1/4 mile or so to the pond and camp site. It's hard to miss.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
Can anyone let me know how long the actual hike in to the site is. It's going to make the determination wether or not I will be able to make it as I am recovering from having a disk removed and a plate put in my neck.
