Coming in Thursday .... let me know if we need something ported in ... depending on size I can get it there. And before you ask Chard, not that huge cast iron pot. Was thinking ham hocks and such.

Whoo Buddy, I’d have me a piece of that! I know that Lofty can cook up a mean steak, but didn’t know he’s a baker too.

I wont be able to make this outing. In laws will be in town for a couple of weeks, so I’ll be preoccupied.

****, that puts my flat bannock to shame. I’ll have to up my game too.

Re the group meal, it’s looking like a soup or watery stew would go well with the bread.

I’m coming in on Friday. Let me know if I should bring some stewing beef.

I'm hoping for the group meal we do something like that menu chard posted

I'm coming on Thursday and willing to pack in a turkey. If it's frozen we could keep it in water to thaw / brine overnight and it would be ready Friday.

EDIT - butterball turkeys are on sale at freshco so I'm getting one today

    Let's start the list

    Turkey - Lofty
    Bread - Lofty

Guess we need a tripod/reflector oven
    Stuffing
    Potatoes
    Veggies
    Dessert
    And whatever else to add.
