I'd like to measure my old Hennessy hammock to determine if it's one of their standard length hammocks or an XL model. I think the standards are supposed to be 10' long, and the XL variants are 11' long.
What's the best way to measure them? Would measuring the ridgeline between the two wrapped ends and seeing if that distance equals (10 or 11 feet minus 83.3%) do it, or is there a simpler method?
The hammock was given to me, and I don't have the original stuffsack or any other indication of which model it is. I assumed it was a standard length, but its weight seems to match the spec of the Explorer Ultralite XL Classic.
