    Any Canadians need CCF pads?

I just came from my "CANADIAN TIRE" store in my area with a new pad. This pad is very close to the gossimer gear 1/4" pads. It measures 21"X71" and only weights 4 oz. The Cost , drum roll please............ $10.99. Anyone with access to this store and in need of a very light , cheap pad should go check it out .(look FOR BROADSTONE FOAM MAT) Let me know if you find one and like it .Good luck

Do you know if this thing is listed on the Can Tire website? I can't find anything like it.

Wait a minute; there's one listed but it gives the weight as 1 1/2 pounds! That can't be right....
    Is it this:

I can't find it either. Do you have a product number for the item that you purchased?

    Thanks

I bought two pads last fall. One for $10 , one for $14-16. The $10 one was all grey and seemed pretty good for a while and i use a piece in the FB of the WBBB,its fine, but the piece i use as a sit pad has lost its??? expansiveness and is very quickly getting to be a very thin flop of grey. The other pad is two tone ,cream and grey, and haven't used it much.

That looks like it, the price is right but the discription is a little off. This thing is very lite at 4.2 oz. not the 1 1/2 pounds it shows. I just bought a 1/8 " GG pad and I think they are made from the very same material or somthing close. I didn't get a product # , threw the paper in my fire, sorry. will go back an look at the store. If you can find one its a grest pad for the price.

I picked up a couple of these on the way home from work. I'm just starting out with this whole hammock thing, and these should be great to experiment with. I have to figure out some sort of bottom insulation. I'm pretty sure the pad in the link is the same one, but 1 1/2 lbs is nonsense. Thanks for the tip!

Great to hear you found them. not sure where they get 1 1/2 lbs. from , 4.2 oz. on my scale. I am going to cut my pad to 3/4 length and make a small sit pad with the scrap. SCORE....

I think that's what i bought at Canadian Tire in Thunder Bay by chance.
Grey very thin 3/16 inch? CCF pad for 10 or 11 dollars. Light as a feather. Slipped it into the Warbonnet and had a nice snooze. In fact was too hot as night time temp was 16.

    now on sale

I was down at Cdn Tire this afternoon and saw that same grey pad 76-2521-8 on sale for $7.69 until 22nd of July (2010). So i bought another one to play with and make my own pad-expander to cover shoulders. Other pads were also on sale.

    Details on grey pad: 71" x 20" (180x51 cm)
    .3" thick (.76 cm)
    10 oz. (290 g)

    rolled up it's 20" x 5.5" x 5.5" (51 x 14 x 14 cm)
