    AHE suspension

I cant wait for my new suspension to come in. I ordered it a few hours ago. Got 30 feet of webbing and the Ulta Lite Cinch Buckle With Long Chain Link for my HH. and placed the order for the dutch clips today also. hope to have it ready for a over night trip next weekend.

Ya won't be disappointed! I've got a couple three AHE packages waiting for me to pick up when I get back home! Like Christmas in April!

I really like the setup that I got from AHE. The webbing is very light weight, the buckles and chain link are great. The ease of setup is great. I have one issue with the setup and that is the buckles. They make it a little hard to loosen the suspension, this is not a major problem just the only thing that bothers me from time to time. I will continue to use the setup from AHE only thing I would consider switching to is whoopies because of a little less weight to carry. But aside from the little problem with the buckles I am very happy with my purchase.

I've not had that problem with the AHE buckles ... they do lock in there but if you lift up on the hammock and wiggle the buckle plates the webbing can be loosen fairly easily. That booger isn't going to slip on you that's for sure.

yeah I agree with you. just have to lift up on the hammock to take some of the pressure off the buckles and yes it is not going to slip.

    Brown:
I have found that if I feed through both buckles with my strap, make a fold in the excess webbing and then feed the loop section through the buckles as normal I have a tag line that I can pull on the seperate the webbing. I think I have a picture of this from this weekends hang and when I get the photos downloaded I will post them.

No, you have to get them from Jacksrbetter.com I highly recommend them for simplicity and weight and bulk savings.
