I had to bail. Feeling bad. Not hypothermia yet but showing hallmarks. Ron is driving us back. Roads were all passable, but there were some tricky spots. VDOT is out and working hard.

Yeah, I was thinking as I posted, that's probably not a very cozy corner, but it sounds good on paper.
Glad you got out there for a while and I'm glad you are playing it smart to avoid a worse situation.

Not all those who wander are lost
This stay-at-home resolved to sleep out in the hammock every night that that you brave souls are encamped at Grayson, and I did okay earlier in the week and last night, but just now I found my tarp had blown aside and the hammock has snow in it. I'll clean it out properly tomorrow and try again. Tomorrow night will be cold and windy here, too, so good luck to us all!
