Hi Folks,
NEHHA is having our annual Winter Hang at Tolgy Woods in Chesterfield (Formerly the old Boy Scout Reservation) at 22 Sugar Hill Rd in Chesterfield MA. (EXCEPT) that is not the entrance we will be at. The entrance to the place we camp is actually off Rt 143 in Chesterfield (on the opposite side of the pond from the main entrance) it is on the same side as and just a couple hundred feet after the Town Highway department (heading toward Chesterfield center). It is a small dirt road with a metal gate that will be open and usually there will be an orange cone to mark the entrance. You drive down a longish dirt drive that may or may not be well maintained and on the right will be some Adirondack shelters. As always, park to unload and then drive a little ways down to park car. There is usually some running water but bring your own just in case. there will be a big old fire, and if it is rainy there will be a huge tarp to keep everyone dry as we stand around the fire.
People often share food but Saturday night is always a Potluck. There is more info and a sign up sheet also at our Facebook Page (NEHHA) I suggest you sign up there unless some intelligent person knows how to import the google doc sign up sheet from our page to here. Also realize that not everyone signs up on the sheet so if it looks like there are just a couple people know that there are more folks showing up than that and it will be happening. Depending on the weather we can hike, canoe, fish (with a license), ski, skate.
Look forward to seeing you all,
Tollermama.
