[Video] Winter Overnight Backpacking Trip in California

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I posted here.
I recently extended the ridgeline for my Winter tarp using the DutchWare Hook Needle Splicing tools so I've been itching to take out the hammock.
The weather was warm but it doesn't get too cold near the coast in California anyway.
Leading up to this trip I was healing the worst poison oak rash I've ever had. It took a little over a month to heal so it was just great to get out.
I almost was able to get a trip in every month of the year but missed January due to the atmospheric rivers.

That poison oak/ivy rash is miserable! Sounds like you had a tough go with it. Thanks for sharing your trip and your music.

Thanks! It was/is. The scarring on my arm hasn't completely healed and it's been almost 2 months now. I'm definitely going to make extra precautions to avoid it. I was reading something about worst fears in the backcountry like bears, mountain lions, and rattlesnakes. For me it's poison oak and ticks.
