I heard that a small Facebook group of Palmetto State Hangers would be here Friday Saturday Sunday May 24 25 26 2024
But I failed to communicate directly with campers.
So far, I’m the only one here.

A couple slept in their tent on sandbar down by river. And an experienced backpacker came by to talk about hammocks. He has a hammock and wants to buy more gear for hammock camping…just right kind of gear.

They camped Friday night down by river in newer more private campsites.
I’ll join them later today
But first coffee.

It’ll be great to share campfire with hammock campers Saturday and Sunday
