Red River Gorge (Kentucky) good for 3+ nights?

Red River Gorge in Kentucky was recommended to me as a can't-miss backpacking destination, semi-close to Virginia. I've done Dolly Sods and Grayson Highlands, thinking Red River Gorge might be my next spectacular trip? Specific places mentioned include hansons point, Indian staircase and Cloud splitter. I watched a couple You tube videos and saw mostly day hikers. The few doing backpack camping seemed like they were just doing 1-nighters. Is there enough backcountry backpacking here to do 3 nights? It's a 6.5 hour drive each way for me so just an overnighter isn't worth the drive.

It's a bigger destination for rock climbers than for just hikers. It's the East Coast mecca for rock climbing. My son in law moved there to live just for the climbing.

You can definately make a multi-day hike and camp. More than 55 miles of hiking trails.
