    NC Yates Hang Fall 2024 Oct 31 Nov 1 2 3

    If camping Thursday (Halloween) for your safety, arrive before sundown!

    Firewood will be delivered
    Yates is a laid back family friendly hang
    Socialized dogs on leash allowed
    We welcome Noobs and Tents

    This is car camping
    There is a vault toilet in a small building

    There is no water at Yates
    Bring all your own water

    All meals are “Ever man fur hisself”
    You are free to collaborate with others on choice of meals…You are Yates—We are Yates

    “Purdy Boil” alcohol stove contest EARLY Saturday morning
    Tour of hammocks Saturday morning—four to six hammocks

    Please bring pop up canopies in case of rain

    Drunkenness will not be tolerated, happy hour is meant to be enjoyed—without passing out

    There is no fee to attend, you might consider a donation for firewood

    Some campers join with friends for a quick overnight backpacking trip in Uwharries

    I hope you enjoy hammock camping in Uwharries with friends and family.

    Yes Sir Phantom - I have added this to my calendar as to prevent a MooseTake in planning my fall events.

    Since Taz missed the spring Yates hang, I think it only fair that he attends the Fall hang and prepares some type of Goullish treats from his Gator tent kitchen.
    Just saying lol We missed you Tazmaniac.
    Thanks PG & I'll bring some firewood funds and maybe a few bad knock knock jokes.

    We hope to see you all at NCHH Wooley Swamp Farm (Stew/Soup) hang the first weekend in Oct and we can plan more for Yates. Lol
