Hey Jeff, it's 10 bucks a night per person and the actual hang is just two nights ($40. For two) but the campground owner will allow us to come early EARLY for an additional night/fee.
    FYI
NCHH is working on a venue/farm near Wilkes, Yadkin County that will be a little cheaper. We will probably have to schedule a work day in September to take out undergrowth, saplings etc. Then we will be looking at some suggestions on dates for a winter hang or next spring. Be thinking of some good dates.
Thanks for the support and suggestions.

Just FYI - I started a Poll on the Facebook page in ref to the upcoming work days on the (New to us venue) TBA later farm/venue. So far it's looking like Sept 14th Sat will be the work day. The owner is allowing us to come on Friday the 13th Oooooo Boo lol and camp (Free) and work Sat. We can also camp Sat night as well or those that live close by can just help and return later. I'm planning on staying both nights. I will be monitoring the poll and advise here as well. If you don't have FB and don't have a way to message me there please PM here if you are coming so I can let you know where it actually is located. Hopefully after the work day is completed (Just removing undergrowth, saplings and removing dead wood) we can announce at Wooley Swamp Soup/Stew hang when the next two will be next year and we plan on a few small get togethers in between the bigger ones. Tks

Would love having yall or you can bring a big group from KY. Hanging in Eastern NC is a lot flatter, solid sandy type ground there. Yall could even incorporate a beach trip before or after the hang since you will be that close to the coast. Later

    WSF S&S Hang

    * WSF Fall Stew/soup Hang * Well it is officially two months out on Oct 4-6

    Come on some cooler weather.

No sign up here but if you don't have Facebook to click going on the event, then just post here around Sept that you can make it.

Also plenty of local restaurants around Snow Hill, WSF and the area if you are coming in late Fri and don't want to cook. Also a few grocery stores just down the road.

Start tweaking those S&S recipes. I will try and remember to bring crackers or Fritos for the trimmings. If anyone wants sour cream, cheese etc just let us know or bring some.

    Come on Fall

Forget the soup bring some Kentucky Bourbon

My Sept/Oct calendar is getting pretty full but I really would like to make this if at all possible. It's only an hour from the house and would be a shame to miss it.

I saw some of the flooding footage after Debby went through; I hope David has the place dried out by then!

Unless there are heavy rains from a new hurricane, Wooley Swamp Farms will be as dry as it was last time we all camped there.
    Bone dry!
